How I clean my brushes - Pulizie di primavera, ora tocca ai pennelli!

Dear All,

Hi All,

I hope you are having a good Sunday! ... my Sundays are usually a good balance between cleaning and relaxing and of course I have to wash my lovely brushes too!
Powders, blushes, foundation piling up and "possibly" germs and dirt too so it's so important for me to start the week and have all my tools ready...
like a pile of freshly washed and ironed cloths!

Here are the 4 easy steps to get them ready for the
next busy week:

1- dirty dirty boys..

1- My dirty little babies..
2- In the sink, with lukewarm water, I wet the bristles. Careful not to get water at the base of the bristles otherwise it will soften the glue that holds them together!
3- I swirl the wet brush over a soap bar - I prefer to use good soaps with essential oils and conditioning properties..
4- I swirl the brush in the palm of my hand to deep clean it,
5- Then water again and here you have it, clean and soft!

.... I then let my brushes relax over a clean towel and wait until they dry out.. they are perfect to go the next morning!

Buona settimana a tutti!
