My summer skincare

buongiorno a tutti,

Sunday morning is the perfect time to take care of our skin and a hydrating face mask is what I need..

During the summer months I tend to be extremely kind with my skin and I try to keep my routing very simple and this is what i have been using...

origins modern friction nature's gentle dermabrasion: no more than twice a week all over the face - I actually use it as a face mask and I leave it on for 10 minutes and then I massage it into the skin for a couple of minutes and swipe it off with a face cloth... It is great and afterwards my skin feels clean and soft.

boots essential cucumber eye gel: this is a very very good eye gel with a great cooling effect! a good buy for 2£.

origins super spot remover: I use it over every new born little beast on my face before going to bed and in the morning I can see that it has worked hard during the night: my pimples look smaller and less painful.

la roche-posay cicaplast  - prorecovery skincare: I use this baby instead of my serum before going to bed and

in the morning I wake up with a soft a glowy skin. 

I also noticed that my most problematic areas - skin around my chin and forehead where I have dry patches and some acne scarring - are improving.

avène tinted cream SPF 20: nice nice nice... this is my moisturizer in the morning and makeup base, SPF is key! It doesn't have much coverage so I double it up with concealer where I need.

la domenica mattina è il momento perfetto per una bella maschera idratante e specialmente d'estate tendo ad essere estremamente delicata con la mia pelle e riduco al minimo la mia routine...

origins modern friction nature's gentle dermabrasion: utilizzo questo scrub non più di 2 volte a settimana – a dir la verità lo uso come una maschera, lo lascio agire per una decina di minuti, poi massaggio e rimuovo il tutto con un panno.. dopo questo quarto d'ora di coccole la mia pelle ringrazia...

boots essential cucumber eye gel: questo gel occhi è incredibilmente rinfrescante.. 2£ spesi bene!

origins super spot remover: questo gel è l'arma segreta contro le bestioline che ogni tanto nascono sul mio viso... lo applico sui brufoletti prima di andare a letto e 

la mattina successiva vedo i risultati: i brofoletto appare meno gonfio e doloroso!

la roche-posay cicaplast  - prorecovery skincare: anche questo è un gel e lo uso una volta al giorno su tutto il viso prima di andare a dormire.. la mattina mi sveglio con una pelle super idratata e morbida! ho anche notato dei miglioramenti nelle mie zone più problematiche - la zona del mento e della fronte dove tendo ad avere macchioline post acne e pelle secca.

avène tinted cream SPF 20: nice nice nice... questa è la crema idratante che uso la mattina e come base trucco al posto del fondotinta.. la protezione solare è fondamentale! E' una crema molto leggera, si assorbe facilmente e per avere un po’ di copertura extra, aggiungo giusto il correttore dove ce n'è bisogno!

Going back to the Origins...

Hello lovely Ladies,

after a very long holiday, I am back with another review and this time is all about Origins! I have been introduced to this brand after watching some videos and comments on YouTube and I was impressed straight away by the quality of the products.

Last year I went for a facial at an Origins counter in Boots and I had the chance to try a few products in one go and see how my skin could react to this skincare range. At that time I was particularly concerned about the area around my eyes which was more sensitive than normal and I decided to try the GinZing eye cream. This is a must-have for sure, extremely moisturizing with a brightening effect! And the little 15ml jar lasted more than 4 months! The same day the lady at the counter gave me a very generous sample of VitaZing moisturizer, the cream that the lovely TiffanyD swears by, here is her video. I must say that this is a unique product, slightly scented with micro-particles that release a tiny amount of coverage onto the skin with the benefit of an SPF 15. Go and check it out! Then, going through a hormonal storm, I was looking for something to clean and re balance my skin and I came across the ZeroOil cleanser, with mint extract, that helps with oil control and clogged pores leaving the skin fresh and matte without drying it. I use it 2/3 times a week, while having a shower, onto dry skin and I leave it for a few minutes before rinsing with warm water. Last but not least, is the CleanEnergy cleansing oil, bought at the Shanghai Duty free with the last change left in my pocket. This is a pure treat for your skin! I use it at night to remove my makeup, massaging a small quantity with circular motions and rinsing with a wet face cloth. I don't even need to put a moisturizer before going to bed!!

What can I say more? Just put Origins to the test and you will be surprised!

Torniamo alle Origini...

Buongiorno Ladies,

dopo un lungo periodo di vacanza, torno con una review su alcuni prodotti Origins, marca che ho conosciuto tramite YouTube e da subito apprezzata per la qualità e il fatto che gli ingredienti utilizzati sono naturali e salutari per la pelle. 

Lo scorso anno ho infatti approfittato di una pulizia del viso gratis presso un punto vendita Origins e questo mi ha permesso di provare vari prodotti e vederne la reazione sulla mia pelle. In quel periodo l'area del mio contorno occhi era particolarmente sensibile e arrossata e ho deciso quindi di acquistare la crema occhi GinZing, estremamente indratante e delicata, senza profumo e dall'effetto illuminante. Prodotto promosso a pieni voti quindi, anche per il fatto che il barattolino da 15 ml dura almeno 4 mesi e la crema ha notevolmente disteso le mie rughette. Nella stessa occasione la gentile signorina mi ha regalato un campioncino della famigerata VitaZing crema idratante per il quale la deliziona TiffanyD ha pubblicato un intero video su YouTube decantandone tutte le virtù e qualità! Beh, devo dire che è un prodotto estremamente buono, dal profumo non invadente e dalla consistenza vellutata, arricchito da miscoparticelle colorate che si dissolvono una volta applicato sul viso, dona compattezza all'incarnato. Sicuramente da provare!!! Dimenticavo, ha anche un leggero schermo solare, SPF 15... altro che BB Creams!! Successivamente, in preda a una tormenta ormonale che ha reso il mio viso leggermente impuro, ho acquistato ZeroOil, deep pore cleanser con estratto di menta, rinfrescante e astringente, assorbe l'eccesso di sebo, lasciando la pelle pulita e fresca, senza seccarla. Lo utilizzo 2/3 volte a settimana sotto la doccia, tipo maschera. Come ultimo prodotto, al dutyfree di Shanghai, con gli ultimo RenMinBi in tasca ho comprato CleanEnergy, un olio struccante e detergente che lascia la pelle morbida e idratata. Uso questo prodotto solo la sera, massaggiandolo abbondantemente sul viso e lo tolgo poi con un panno imbevuto di acqua calda e la pelle del mio viso ringrazia! Non sento più la mia pelle tirare e non ho assolutamente bisogno di una crema idratante dopo la doccia o prima di andare a dormire.

Care mie, concludo con un consiglio: PROVATE ORIGINS!!!
