Summer Favourites - June, July and August

In estate, con l'aria che diventa piu' mite e la pelle che si abbronza, le mie necessita' di makeup cambiano radicalmente! Niente fondotinta o cipria, polveri piu'shimmer sulle guance, occhi poco truccati e prodotti a lunga tenuta..

Come base, dopo la crema da giorno con protezione solare 20, mi piace utilizzare la crema colorata di Avene, super idratante - vi avverto, non credo sia ideale per pelli grasse - e una leggera spolverata di bronzer opaco al posto della cipria, su guance e zona T.
 Poi illumino la zona occhi e il contorno labbra con il correttore Rimmel Wake Me Up e passo agli occhi: per la sera uno smoky colorato dalle tonalita' del blu e azzurro e per il giorno, l'ombretto in crema Colour Tatoo di Maybelline con un pizzico di eyeliner waterproof.. e se proprio mi sento creativa, sfumo nella linea inferiore delle ciglia un po' di ombretto Mac Fresh Water..

Per le guance.. e qui arriva il bello .. opto per l'immancabile Gold Deposit di Mac sullo zigolo e un tocco di rosa sulla guancia - mi piace molto Fleur Power di Mac perche' e' un fucsia con una punta di salmone - oppure bronzer sotto lo zigomo, Mac Definitly Define sullo zigomo e il blush rosa sulla guancia.. un triangolo perfetto!

Labbra - semplici ma d'effetto: MUA lipgloss shade 4, da un paio d'anni conosco e amo questo lip gloss di un fucsia intenso con un sottotono dorato, e' idratante e ha un effetto lip stain quindi dura parecchio, il tutto a sole 2£.. ovviamente se mi avventuro con lo smoky eye, tampono un po' le labbra e alleggerisco il colore del lip gloss.. abbiamo detto che in estate ci piacciono i look leggeri, o no??

p.s. nella foto di seguito ho aggiunto altri 2 blush che adoro in estate: Melba e Sunbasque di Mac, entrambi dai toni pesca/salmone, uno matte e uno shimmer.. perfetti anche come ombretti!

During summer,  with the temperatures going up and the tanned skin, my make up routine changes a lot! NO foundation or powder, intensive use of highlighter, simple eye looks and waterproof products...

I usually start with a little bit of Avene Tinted Cream, a very light and moisturising cream with the bonus of SPF20 - I would not recommend it for oily skin though - and then a touch of Concealer around the eye areas and around mouth and nose. Then I dust some matte bronzer along the T zone and cheeks and I start whit the eyes: as a day look I go for Colour Tattoo from Maybelline in On and On Bronze, a line of eye liner and plenty of mascara, for the night I love a smoky eye look with blue tones.. Mac eye shadow in Contrast is great for this paired with the beautiful Fresh Water - post coming soon!.

Cheeks.. here is were I get crazy - Gold Deposit from Mac is my best friend during summer 

and this year I am loving the combination Gold Deposit along the cheek bone and Fleur Power on the apple of the cheek.. another lovely combination is a matte bronzer along the cheeks - Debby SunExperience Bronzing Powder shade no.3-, Mac Definitely Define on the cheek bone and Fleur Power on the apple of the cheek.. the perfect triangle!

Lips - My favourite at the moment is the MUA lip gloss shade 4 that is an intense pink with gold undertone with a very moisturising formulations.. for only 2£! 

p.s in the picture below I included also Mac Melba and Mac Sunbasque, both great colours for summer, one shimmer and one matte.. I live to use them as eye shadows too :-)
